About Us
ap opticians is an independently owned practice with two branches in
Northamptonshire. We were established 70 years ago by Montague Night
and sons, and although the practice has gone through several changes
of partnership, our philosophy has always remained the
same and that
is to offer outstanding eyecare to all our clients. We believe that you
deserve the best solution for your optical needs and put our time, skill
and experience towards giving you the best clinical care and advice we
can.
This
could be in children's eyecare, providing
home visits for the elderly and housebound
or advising commerce and industry on health
and safety issues, with respect to VDU use
and injury hazards - remember, your satisfaction
with our service is our best advert. Most of our new clients come to
us through the personal recommendations of friends or family of our existing
clients, and even when people have moved away whether it is to another
county or another country, they still return to have their eyes looked
after by us.
We
have won several awards for our service to
the industry, most notably Contact Lens Practice
of the Year 2003, and Dispensing practice
of the year 2001.

We cater for all ages - our youngest patients
is under one year, and our eldest well
into their nineties. We take care –
- We have a disabled access, but for those
unable to come in, we offer a home visiting
service.
- Your appointment is never rushed, and you
can usually see the same optician each time
you attend so they really get to know about
your eyes. See what happens in
an eye exam
- All our professional staff are fully qualified,
some with many years of experience, they are
backed up by our dedicated support staff which
contributes to the smooth running of the practice.
- We have a play area for children.
- There are information leaflets and magazines
available in our waiting areas.
